Description

LHAASO-WCDA动态范围扩展系统(WCDA++)采用的小尺寸光电倍增管工作在2×10^5增益下,由于其低增益的特点,我们设计了一套基于LED光源组和光纤束构成的电荷标定系统。为满足标定需求,我们在实验室研制了一套利用LED驱动板点亮不同型号的LED、多分支导光光纤(±10%)混光、41分支光纤(±8%)分光以实现单光子、多光子(50pe~500pe)和大光强(2000pe~10000pe)这三种光源集一身的标定系统;通过研究高压响应曲线、高增益下的单光电子谱和不同脉宽下的A/D比,实现了对探测器工作增益的快速标定。这套标定系统和方法将运用于LHAASO-WCDA四分之一水池当中,对900个小尺寸光电倍增管进行工作增益标定和监测。
