Description
Dr Aera JUNG is working on PolarLight, a gas pixel detector astronomical x-ray polarimeter cubesat launched in October 2018. She will talk about primarily on hardware design for space experiments in general and her extensive experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), their associated VHDL coding, circuit board design, integration testing, etc. The previous projects, such as the KAMTEL project and its derivatives,then Ultra-Fast Flash Observatory pathfinder (UFFO-p) project, the JEM-EUSO project etc will also be covered.
