The Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) project is a new generation multi-component instrument, located at 4410 meters of altitude in the Sichuan province of China, with the aim to study with unprecedented sensitivity the spectrum, the composition and the anisotropy of cosmic rays in the energy range between 10^12and 10^18 eV. It also acts simultaneously as a wide aperture, continuously-operated gamma ray telescope in the energy range between 10^11 and 10^15 eV. At current stage, the LHAASO experiment has finished one quarter of the construction and has started to take data.
We are organizing the 10th International workshop on Air Shower Detection at High Altitudes to discuss the first science results of LHAASO and various science cases that can be carried out with LHAASO. The workshop will be held at Nanjing University (Xianlin Campus), Nanjing, China on January 8-10, 2020. And the onsite registration date is Jan. 7, 2020.
