1. Introduction by Joao
1) CEPC related workshops
2) Preparation for US Snowmass, 2021
2. Status of KEY4HEP and Latest Software Progress at CEPC -- by Xingtao Huang
Xingtao gave a talk to introduce the progress of CEPC software. To sum up, CEPCSW has been built based on Key4hep. The first version of EDM4HEP (v0.1) was released and we have set up the environment to do validation in CEPCSW. We have imported Pandora to CEPCSW, both tracking and colorimeter reconstruction algorithms are available for EDM4HEP testing. Now DD4HEP is being used by tracking algorithm as well as the simulation for ECAL design. Fast calorimeter simulation with the frozen shower method is being developed. Both frozen shower and GAN methods are supposed to be easily plugged into CEPC fast simulation framework.
3. CEPC Silicon Drift Chamber Tracker Concept – by Xin Shi
Xin introduced the progress of a new CEPC tracking system concept, which is CEPC Silicon + Drift Chamber Tracker. Now they are using LDT fast simulation to test the performace. The work is just started. They will define the geometry, do the simulation and reconstruction, compare tracking performance with other concept, and optimize the parameters in following steps.
