Fluctuations at the CERN SPS

Abstract: Selected results on event-by-event fluctuations of hadron production properties in collisions at the CERN SPS  will be presented at discuss. Firstly I will address multiplicity fluctuations in p+p interactions and compare them to corresponding results on e⁺ + e^-and nucleus-nucleus collisions. Secondly I shall review results concerning search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter.
