Abstract: The Sun, as our own star, is of great importance to us in everyday life. Recently, it has been shown that the Sun does not only shine lights on our daily life; it can also illuminate the dark sector of the universe. In this talk, I will review the recent development of using the Sun to search for light dark matter candidates.
