Little bio: 2002-2006 Undergraduate, School of Physics, Peking University 2006-2011 PhD Student, Department of Physics, University of Maryland 2011-2014, Postdoc at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics 2014-2017, Postdoc (Walter Burke Fellow) at Caltech 2017-now, Tsinghua University Abstract: The Sun, as our own star, is of great importance to us in everyday life. Recently, it has been shown that the Sun does not only shine lights on our daily life; it can also illuminate the dark sector of the universe. In this talk, I will review the recent development of using the Sun to search for light dark matter candidates.
