$\mathcal{N}=4$ Super-Yang-Mills theory has played a key role in various recent developments in theoretical physics such as holography and conformal bootstrap. Due to its fundamental importance and internal simplicity, it is called the `hydrogen atom' of the 21st century. Intriguingly, it turns out to be integrable in the large $N$ limit and can be studied by integrability techniques such as the Yang-Baxter equation. In this talk, I will first explain how integrability, a typically lower dimensional phenomena, shows up in a 4d gauge theory and leads to a number of highly non-trivial exact results. I will then discuss more recent developments beyond the spectral problem, including non-perturbative approaches to compute the operator product expansion (OPE) coefficients.
