Precision test of the Zbb anomalous couplings at the colliders

Description
It is well know that the Zbb anomalous couplings have a long-standing discrepancy between the precision measurement of the electroweak data at the LEP/SLC and the Standard Model prediction, and the Zbb couplings can not be fully determined by the global analysis of the LEP and SLC data. It has been shown that there are two possible solutions for the Zbb couplings after combing the Ab, Rb and AFB measurements at the Z-pole and off Z-pole. Breaking the degeneracy and as well as confirming or excluding the anomaly of AFB measurement at LEP is one of the major tasks of the particle physics. In this talk, I will discuss the recent development of deteriming the Zbb anomalous couplings at the LHC and EIC. It shows that the apparent degeneracy of the Zbb couplings and AFB puzzle could be resolved by those new measurements.
Biography:
岩斌,2012年本科毕业于重庆大学,2017年在北京大学物理学院获得博士学位,2017-2019年在密歇根州立大学担任博士后研究员,2019年加入洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室,并且随后获得 Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow。2022年6月加入中科院高能所任副研究员。研究兴趣包括:标准模型有效场论、顶夸克、希格斯物理、对撞机物理唯象学以及 QCD 重求和计算等。
