Subject: A first list of possible contributions to CALOR2024
      Date: Wed, 21 Feb 2024 15:47:47 +0800
      From: Yong Liu <liuyong@ihep.ac.cn>
      To: cepc-calo@maillist.ihep.ac.cn <cepc-calo@maillist.ihep.ac.cn>, cepc-calo-beamtest@lists.ustc.edu.cn

as a follow-up action item of the calo biweekly meeting on Monday,

here below is a tentative list of possible contributions to CALOR2024 from our working group.

      • ScW-ECAL prototype: hardware, beamtests and data analysis, key performance; simulation and validation
      • AHCAL prototype: hardware, beamtests and data analysis, key performance; simulation and validation
      • PID studies on CERN TB data: (1) fractal dimension, (2) ANN
      • Studies on SiPM-readout ASICs: (1) PIST, (2) MPT
      • Crystal calorimeter R&D: (1) hardware, beamtests, (2) reconstruction software and (proto-)PFA performance studies
      • Glass calorimeter R&D: (1) new glass developments (-> TBD by "GS-Collab"), (2) hardware, beamtests, (3) PFA performance and design optimisation
      • SiPM for homogeneous calorimetry: dynamic range studies of high pixel-density SiPMs (tests and simulation)
      • Performance: Arbor new developments, (perhaps jet origin ID) ...

Since this the first version, your feedback would be very welcome and appreciated. We will have further discussions and iterations in next meetings and hope to converge in early March.

      Best regards,

      Yong
