New developments in precision AdS5/CFT4

Testing AdS/CFT correspondence beyond the mean field approximation is an important but challenging task. In this talk, I will deliver two very recent developments in the gravity side towards a precision test of AdS5/CFT4. I will first present a complete basis of leading higher curvature corrections in five dimensional minimal gauged supergravity. Then I will show you how to compute thermodynamic quantities of AdS black hole in this theory without solving any higher order field equations.
