Dark matter and high energy neutrinos in the precision era

Tremendous progress has been made in the past decades in searching for the most elusive particles of the Universe, dark matter and neutrinos. As the theoretical and experimental studies have entered the precision era, I will discuss some of the most well-motivated dark matter models in direct and indirect searches, with special focus on light dark matter. I will also present the prospect of the study of high-energy neutrinos, and how new physics can be explored in future neutrino telescopes.

个人简介:宋宁强博士现任中国科学院理论物理所副研究员。他于2018年在纽约州立大学石溪分校,杨振宁理论物理研究所获得博士学位。2018-2021年,他在加拿大皇后大学和圆周研究所任博士后。2021-2023年他在英国利物浦大学做博士后。宋宁强的研究方向主要包括暗物质、中微子和新物理等。
