In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the J particle, we are honored to host a symposium to commemorate this groundbreaking achievement in the field of particle physics. The discovery of J particle by Prof. Samuel Ting in 1974 at the Brookhaven National Laboratory marked a pivotal moment in our understanding of the subatomic world，which was referred to “November Revolution of the Particle Physics”.
This symposium aims to bring together researchers and enthusiasts from around the world to reflect on the significance of the J particle discovery and its enduring impact on particle physics. Through a series of presentations, discussions, and keynote addresses, we will delve into the historical context, scientific implications, and future directions inspired by this discovery.
The symposium will be held at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Beijing, P. R. China, on October 20-21, 2024. No registration fee will be charged for this symposium, accommodation fee and transportation expenses should be covered by your institutions. The deadline for registration and requests for visa letters of invitation is October 10, 2024.
