Lattice QCD studies on the radiative and weak decays of charmed hadrons

Description

Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) has achieved significant success in addressing various non-perturbative problems in strong interactions. In this presentation, I will review our recent lattice studies on the radiative and weak decays of charmed hadrons, which are bound by at least one charm quark or anti-charm quark. A highly precise lattice calculation of the radiative decay width of the strange charm meson is presented, which can be utilized to extract the CKM matrix element |Vcs| by combining with experimental data. A discrepancy in the two-photon decay of charmonium is identified, and we offer insights into the comparison between our findings and experimental measurements.

简介:孟雨,2015年本科毕业于郑州大学,2020年博士毕业于北京大学,导师刘川教授。随后在北京大学高能物理中心从事博士后工作,并于2022年加入郑州大学担任研究员。科研工作主要利用格点量子色动力学研究粲强子辐射衰变、弱衰变以及强子-强子散射过程。研究工作曾获得国家自然科学基金理论物理专项和青年项目资助, 已在Science Bulletin、Physical Review D等期刊发表多篇研究论文。他曾受邀在第40届国际格点场论大会(Lattice 2023)作大会报告。
