Transverse spin effects and light quark dipole moments at colliders

Abstract: The electroweak dipole moments play a crucial role in probing 
the internal structures of particles and can be systematically parameterized by 
dimension-six operators within the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT).
The chirality-flip feature of these dipole interactions pose challenges in constraining the Wilson coefficients 
with light fermions through global SMEFT analyses using available data from the LHC and other facilities.
In this talk, I will discuss recent progress in exploring these new physics effects through transverse spin effects at colliders.

个人简介:岩斌,2012年本科毕业于重庆大学物理学院,2017年获得北京大学物理学院博士学位。
2017年至2019年在美国密歇根州立大学做博士后研究员,
2019年至2022年在美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室担任博士后研究员,
并获得 Director's Postdoctoral Fellow。2022年6月进入中国科学院高能物理研究所任副研究员。
曾获中国科学院百人计划、国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金支持。研究方向为 TeV 物理唯象学,
具体包括希格斯和顶夸克物理,标准模型有效场论,对撞机物理以及自旋物理等。
迄今共发表学术论文40余篇,其中 Physical Review Letters 3 篇。
