Overview
The Belle II experiment has accumulated approximately 575 /fb data and is expected soon to reach the data volume of the Belle experiment. In the future, the Belle II experiment will provide new opportunities for searching new physics beyond the standard model, and the physics of B meson, tau, charm ,heavy quarkonium, exotic hadronic states.
The Belle and Belle II China group members have made significant contributions to the research and discovery of charm mesons and charmoniumlike states, measurements of D0-D0bar mixing, photon physics, and the search for new hadronic states. Additionally, we undertook the design of the overall high-speed data readout system for the Belle II detector and the development of the data readout system for the silicon pixel detector. Currently, we are also responsible for the research and development of the Belle II experiment's KLM subdetector upgrade.
To enhance communication and discuss the research progress and plans of the Chinese group members over the past year, as well as their work, the Belle II Chinese group holds an annual symposium. With strong support from various member institutions, previous symposiums of the Chinese group have been successfully held at Fudan University (1st), Liaoning Normal University (2nd), Nanjing Normal University (3rd), Zhengzhou University (4th), Henan Normal University (5th) and Fudan University (6th). The 7th Belle II Chinese group symposium is scheduled to be held at Shandong University (Qingdao Campus) from May 16th to May 20th, 2025, with on-site participation.
