Top quark pair production: from threshold to high energies

In this talk, I will review the theoretical status on precision predictions for top quark pair production and the associated production with the Higgs boson. Special focus will be put on the factorization and resummation of the bound-state ("toponium") effects near threshold, and the soft and mass logarithms in the high-energy limit. I will also introduce recent progress on Feynman integral calculus, which will be necessary to push the theoretical predictions to higher precision.

Bio:
杨李林，浙江大学物理学院教授。本科及博士毕业于北京大学物理学院，其后在德国美因茨大学、瑞士苏黎世大学从事博士后研究。2012 年回到北京大学物理学院任研究员，2020年至今于浙江大学物理学院任教授。主要研究方向包括微扰量子场论、有效场论和重求和、标准模型精确检验、顶夸克物理和希格斯物理。
