报告摘要:The standard model effective field theory (SMEFT) systematically parametrize high scale new physics at the electroweak scale via large number of Wilson coefficients of effective operators. Various global symmetries can be utilized to organize effective operators, such as CP, baryon and lepton numbers. The flavor symmetry, such as U(3)^5, MFV, modular, plays important role on significantly reducing numbers of Wilson coefficients, and its relation to CP phase is explored. Around the QCD scale, the SU(3) flavor symmetry, along with CP and B/L symmetry, can be used to organize the low energy effective field theory and match to chiral Lagrangian with spurion technique.
报告人介绍:于江浩,中国科学院理论物理研究所研究员,2012年获密歇根州立大学博士学位,之后在德州大学奥斯汀分校、麻省大学阿姆斯特分校从事博士后研究,2017年底回国后历任副研究员和研究员。目前主要的研究兴趣包括有效场论理论和应用、电弱散射振幅、Higgs和中微子物理、物质反物质不对称以及暗物质宇宙学,在相关研究领域发表期刊文章80余篇。
