The First China-Europe Cultural Heritage Science Summer School (CECHSS2025)

Asia/Shanghai
Institute of High Energy Physics, No. 19B Yuquan Road, Shijingshan District, Beijing, China
Xiangqian Feng
Description

We are fortunate to inherit a rich legacy of languages, customs, traditions, values, places, and objects crafted by human communities. These invaluable treasures are shared by all of humanity. However, this legacy today faces growing threats from a wide range of challenges, including urbanization, overtourism, natural disasters, socio-economic pressures, lack of public awareness, shortages in communication and protective technologies, and shortcomings in governance and management.

CECHSS2025 aims to bring together talented postgraduate students and emerging professionals from China and Europe to elevate global focus and concern on cultural heritage research. More importantly, this intensive program provides a unique opportunity for participants to engage with the latest developments in world cultural heritage science, enhance their professional skills, and broaden their perspectives in this vital field.
