Title: Thermodynamics and Quantum Criticality of Dyonic Black Holes in Five-Dimensional EMCS Theory
Abstract: The five-dimensional Einstein–Maxwell–Chern–Simons (EMCS) theory, which arises from string theory or supergravity, is of significant importance in the construction of black hole solutions, the study of black hole thermodynamics, the exploration of quantum gravity, and gauge/gravity duality. In this theory, there exists a class of black hole solutions carrying both electric and magnetic charges, offering an ideal holographic setting to investigate magnetic-driven quantum phase transitions in strongly correlated systems. This talk will present our recent progress on the thermodynamics of these black holes, their holographic metallic quantum criticality, and the associated magnetocaloric effects.
