Description
The HGTD module production is about to start. The IHEP-USTC site uses an automated through an automated Gantry System equipped with a vision system, glue dispenser, vacuum plates, and dedicated tools for precise pick-and-place of module components, hybrids, and module flexes. An automatic workflow is being developed to efficiently handle the high module yield required by the project. Complementary metrology procedures are implemented to verify that thickness, alignment, and all critical parameters of assembled modules remain within specifications, and the latest software developments and procedural progress will be presented.
