Description

Deeply virtual meson production (DVMP) is among the most prominent channels to extract the nucleon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) at $ep$ colliders such as JLab 12 GeV facility and the upcoming EIC/EicC experiments. In this report, we investigate the effect of the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD radiative corrections to the process $\gamma^* N\to \pi N$, accurate at the leading power. The impact of two-loop QCD corrections appears to be substantial, including which significantly increases the leading power perturbative QCD prediction, which considerably reconcile the tension between pQCD prediction and available data at JLab.
