Description
The Dual-Readout Calorimeter (DRC) is a promising candidate calorimetry technique for future e+e- colliders such as FCC-ee and CEPC. By simultaneously measuring scintillation and Cherenkov signals, this technique enables direct, event-by-event measurement and correction of fluctuations in the electromagnetic shower fraction. As a result, it can significantly improve the hadronic energy resolution.
The Korea DRC collaboration has continuously developed, fabricated, and tested a copper-based DRC. In this talk, we present a comprehensive overview of this process, including results from test beams performed at CERN SPS and KEK in 2026.
In particular, the detector performance for both electromagnetic and hadronic energy resolutions, together with recent developments in detector fabrication and readout methods.
