Description
This work focuses on the development of cold plate components for the CEPC detector. An ultra-light carbon fiber composite unidirectional heat conductive cold plate was manufactured by hot-pressing carbon fiber and graphene, and its thermal conductivity was optimized. The resulting cold plate exhibits a density lower than that of aluminum and a thermal conductivity higher than that of aluminum, making it suitable for low-material-budget detector applications. In addition, a thermal conductivity measurement method was investigated, and an experimental setup was established to measure the thermal conductivity of ultra-thin plates with a thickness of approximately 0.3 mm. This work provides reliable equipment support for further optimizing the thermal conductivity of the cold plate and experimentally verifies the feasibility of the proposed ultra-light cold plate for CEPC detector thermal management.
