Description
The invisible width of the Z boson was measured with high accuracy at LEP. Within the Standard Model, this value indicates three active neutrino families. However, New physics models can lead to deviations from this estimate. Therefore, it is important to measure the Z decay branching fraction for a specific neutrino flavor. We propose a new method to precisely measure the Z decay branching fraction to electron neutrinos, utilizing the interference between diagrams where the relative phase varies with the invariant mass of the neutrino pair.
