Description
Vertex detectors are essential for high-precision Higgs measurements at electron-positron Higgs factories. Focusing on H→ccˉ and H→ssˉ decays in the ννˉH channel, we optimize the vertex detector’s inner radius and spatial resolution via the AI-based Jet Origin Identification (JOI) flavour-tagging framework.
Shrinking the inner radius and boosting spatial resolution improve impact parameter resolution and enhance the precision and sensitivity of our decay measurements. Larger parameters degrade performance notably, with inner radius being the dominant contributor. Our findings guide detector design and prove the feasibility of probing rare H→ssˉ decays at future Higgs factories.
