DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Xinyu Zhang (Zhejiang University)\nA central theme
of modern mathematical physics is the interplay between geometry and super
symmetric gauge theory. After briefly reviewing the basic framework of Don
aldson–Witten theory\, we outline a physical framework for its K-theoret
ic generalization. In this approach\, K-theoretic Donaldson invariants ari
se as topological correlation functions of 5d N=1 SU(2) super Yang–Mills
theory with a partial topological twist. Using path-integral methods\, we
evaluate these invariants explicitly. We also present evidence for new in
variants appearing at the superconformal point that are independent of Don
 aldson and Seiberg–Witten invariants.\n\n个人简介：Xinyu Zhang is a
Tenure-track Research Professor at the Zhejiang Institute of Modern Physi
cs\, Zhejiang University. He earned his B.S. in Physics from Peking Univer
sity in 2011 and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at Stony Brook University
in 2017. From 2017 to 2023\, he conducted postdoctoral research at Rutgers
University and DESY. His research focuses on various aspects of supersymm
 etric theories and mathematical physics.\nhttps://indico.ihep.ac.cn/event/
