摘要: In this invited colloquium talk, I shall give a brief historical review of the muon magnetic anomaly from both the measurement and prediction sides, focusing on the relevant inputs and the corresponding data-driven evaluation of the contribution of the hadronic vacuum polarisation to the muon magnetic anomaly using dispersion relations. I shall also discuss the current status and its prospects.
个人简介:Zhiqing Zhang is a senior physicist at the French national centre for scientific research (CNRS) since 1992 as a permanent researcher. Earlier, he was a graduate student in the theory division under the supervision of initially Profs. Du Dongsheng, Wu Dandi, and finally Huang Tao. His research on the muon magnetic anomaly is closely related to his activities previously in ALEPH, recently in BABAR and Belle II. In parallel, he was or has been an active member in H1, ILC and ATLAS. Ever since he is in France, he has had close collaboration with China and has supervised a number of PhD students, postdocs and visitors from IHEP or elsewhere in China.
