  will explain how the LHCb simulation software works. The principles of th
 e event generation will be explained. Then\, how generator-level events ar
 e assembled and simulated in order to obtain events as close as possible t
 o reality for LHCb physics analyses.\n\n \n\nAbout the speaker: \n\nPatri
 ck Robbe is a researcher at the IJCLab laboratory in Orsay at the Universi
 te Paris-Saclay in France\, member of the LHCb collaboration\, where he co
 ntributed to the development of the generators for the LHCb simulation sof
 tware\, to detector operation and to flavour physics measurements. He is c
