DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nMeV gamma-ray imaging plays a crucial role in ast
 rophysics\, nuclear security\, and medical physics\; however\, existing de
 tector technologies face critical limitations. Mechanical collimators suff
 er from low detection efficiency and an inherent resolution-sensitivity tr
 ade-off\, while conventional Compton scattering cameras are hindered by s
 ingle-measurement ambiguity. Furthermore\, electron tracking systems intro
 duce prohibitive hardware bulk and high system complexity. To address thes
 e challenges\, we propose a novel Hybrid Cherenkov–Scintillation Compton
  Camera for MeV gamma-ray imaging. This scheme enables high-precision\, ev
 ent-by-event direction reconstruction. Preliminary simulation results indi
 cate that the proposed configuration achieves an angular resolution of 1.6
 °–1.9° and a wide field of view (FOV) of ±83°. \n\n \n\nAbout the
  speaker:\n\nQiuping SHEN is a postdoctoral fellow at the IHEP\, CAS. He
  received his PhD in 2024 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Universit
 é Paris Cité\, supported by Chinese Scholarship Council. Since 2019\, he
  has been working on the LHC ATLAS experiment\, with research interests in
 cluding photon identification\, diHiggs search. During his PhD\, he also
  worked on detector for the SDHCAL\, focusing on precise timing measuremen
 ts. His recent research interests include rare Higgs decays (HZγ and Hμ
 μ)\, LIV searches in Hγγ\, and the development of novel Compton-based g
 amma detector concepts for MeV gamma-ray imaging.\n\n \n\nhttps://zoom.us
