DESCRIPTION:This workshop is dedicated to recent experimental and theoreti
 cal progress in quarkonium physics at the Large Hadron Collider. Quarkoniu
 m states\, such as charmonium and bottomonium\, provide essential probes o
 f Quantum Chromodynamics\, heavy-quark production\, hadronization\, and th
 e properties of strongly interacting matter.\n\nThe workshop will bring to
 gether experimentalists and theorists to discuss quarkonium production and
  modification in proton–proton\, proton–nucleus\, and heavy-ion collis
 ions at LHC energies. \n\nSpecial attention will also be given to the Sta
 tistical Hadronization Model\, pioneered by Peter Braun-Munzinger and coll
 aborators\, and its role in describing quarkonium and heavy-flavor product
 ion in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The discussion will highlight ho
 w this approach connects quarkonium production to charm-quark thermalizati
 on\, hadronization at the QCD phase boundary\, and the formation of the qu
 ark–gluon plasma.\n\n\nSpeakers are by invitation only. Conference regi
