Description
The Mu2E experiment uses a bunched beam to eliminate prompt backgrounds. For this to work, the fraction of the beam arriving between bunches, the so-called extinction, must be less than 1.0E-10. In this talk we will describe our plans for achieving and monitoring extinction at this level of precision.
