 ty (South Africa)\n \nAbstract: Dark matter is the dominant matter in the
  Universe but its nature is still unknown. In recent years\, indirect dete
 ction search\, especially using radio telescopes becomes a main stream of 
 searching for dark matter candidates. In this talk\, I will introduce thre
 e major scenarios of dark matter widely considered as the dark matter cand
 idates: Axion-Like-Particles (ALP)\, Axion dark matter and WIMP (Weakly In
 teractive Massive Particle) and show what mechanism they can manifest and 
 radiate the radio waves that are possibly detectable with mid-frequency ra
 dio telescopes. I will then discuss how the current radio telescopes\, suc
 h as FAST\, MeerKAT and SKA can search the DM candidates and put constrain
 ts on their physical parameters.\n \nBio: Professor Yin-Zhe Ma obtained t
 he Ph.D. degree in Astronomy from the University of Cambridge (supervisor:
  Prof. George Efstathiou FRS). He conducted CITA National Fellowship at th
 e University of British Columbia Canada and a research associate at the Un
 iversity of Manchester\, and worked in the University of KwaZulu-Natal dur
 ing 2015-2023.  In 2023\, he moved to Stellenbosch University as a full p
 rofessor and the founding head of astrophysics division in physics departm
 ent. He is also the Inaugural Chair of Stellenbosch-Groningen Computationa
 l Astronomy Program.\n \nHis research is on theoretical astrophysics and 
 cosmology. He is currently a core member of the Square Kilometer Array (SK
 A) Science Working group\, the Planck science team\, Hydrogen Epoch Reioni
 zation Array (HERA)\, and the CMB Stage-4 experiment and LSST (Vera C. Rub
 in Observatory). He has published over 150 papers\, with total citations e
 xceeding 30000\, h-index 50. He holds several South Africa National Resear
 ch Foundation grants and international grants. He was elected to the Acade
 my of Science of South Africa in 2022. He was awarded the National Science
  and Technology Forum Researcher Award in 2025.\n \n中文简介：\n马
 寅哲教授在南京大学获得物理学学士学位，在中国科学
 院理论物理研究所获得硕士学位（导师：蔡荣根院士）
 ，并在英国剑桥大学获得了天文学博士学位 (Supervisor: Geo
 rge Efstathiou)。并在加拿大和英国从事博士后研究，之后
 在南非夸祖鲁纳塔尔大学出任高级讲师、副教授和正教
 授。2023年出任南非斯坦陵布什大学 (Stellenbosch University) 
 正教授，Stellenbosch-Groningen联合天文学讲座教授，物理系
 天体物理分部主任。他的研究在观测和理论宇宙学。他
 目前是平方公里射电望远镜阵列（SKA），欧洲宇航局Planc
 k卫星团队，中国五百米射电望远镜FAST，美国-南非HERA望
 远镜和 LSST (Vera C Rubin Observatory)的核心成员，并主持若干
 国际合作研究项目。他发表了150多篇论文，被引总数超
 过33000，h-index 为 50。获得过若干南非国家基金会，海外
 基金会的支持。2022年当选为南非国家科学院院士。2025年
 获得南非国家科学技术论坛研究员成就奖。\n \n他从2015
 年起开创和领导了南非和中国的天文合作，被人民网称
 为“连接中国与南非天文学的桥梁”。曾担任中国科学
 院紫金山天文台兼职研究员(2017-2021)，国家天文台兼职研
 究员(2019-2021，2025-今)。 2018年获得国家自然科学基金委
