DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Tao Han (University of Pittsburgh)\nWith the milesto
 ne discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC\, precision measurements of the
  electroweak physics at high energies  hold the key to understand the Sta
 ndard Model (SM) and to uncover new physics beyond the SM. After a brief o
 verview of the properties of the longitudinal gauge bosons and the Higgs b
 oson\, we revisit the Goldstone boson equivalence theorem and define the 
 “electroweak symmetry restoration” (EWSR) quantitatively. We present s
 ome examples to examine the EWSR at the LHC and beyond\, in particular via
  the processes with "radiation amplitude zeros” by separating out the ga
 uge sector and the scalar sector. We discuss what we may learn from testin
 g the EWSR at high energies.\n\nBio： Tao Han is Distinguished Professor 
 of High Energy Physics at the University of Pittsburgh and the founding Di
 rector of the Pittsburgh Particle Physics\, Astrophysics and Cosmology Cen
 ter. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 199
 0. He was previously a faculty member at the University of California\, Da
 vis\, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison\, where he served as Profe
 ssor and Co-Director of the Phenomenology Institute before joining the Uni
 versity of Pittsburgh in 2011.\n\nHis research focuses on collider phenome
 nology and the exploration of physics beyond the Standard Model. He has ma
 de important contributions to Higgs physics\, new physics searches at the 
 Large Hadron Collider\, and the study of future high-energy colliders\, in
 cluding the International Linear Collider\, Future Circular Collider\, and
  muon collider. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Am
