Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the Workshop on Charged Lepton Flavor Violation and Kick-off Meeting for the COMET Key International Collaborative Research Project will be held in Huidong County, Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China, on October 9–11, 2026.

The workshop is jointly organized by the Guangdong Laboratory of Advanced Energy Science and Technology, the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The workshop will focus on recent advances in charged lepton flavor violation, the COMET experiment, and related key technologies. Participants will also discuss the research objectives, allocation of responsibilities, and future work plans for the Key Regional Collaborative Research Project. We cordially invite experts and colleagues to attend.

Venue: Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort Shuangyue Bay Huizhou, Huidong County, Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China
Accommodation and Meals: Accommodation and meals during the meeting will be arranged by the organizing committee at the participants’ own expense. Further details will be provided separately.

   兹定于2026年10月9—11日在广东省惠州市惠东县召开“带电轻子味道破坏学术研讨会暨COMET重点国际合作研究项目启动会”。本次研讨会由先进能源科学与技术广东省实验室、中国科学院近代物理研究所、中国科学院高能物理研究所联合主办。会议将主要围绕带电轻子味道破坏领域的最新研究进展、COMET实验及相关关键技术展开交流，并就重点地区合作研究项目的研究目标、任务分工及后续工作计划进行讨论。在此，我们诚挚邀请各位专家、同行参加此次学术研讨会。
