Description
Apart from the common decay modes (e.g. $H\rightarrow \gamma\gamma$, $H\rightarrow WW$), the Higgs boson has several decay modes with very tiny decay BRs (rare decay modes) predicted in the SM. Searches for these decay modes are very important since any observed deviations from the SM predictions give the hints of new physics beyond the SM.
Also, some BSM theories predict the non-SM decay modes of the Higgs boson (called exotic decay modes). Searches for these exotic modes using the collider data provide the direct way to test those theories. This talk will summarise the recently ATLAS results for Higgs boson rare and exotic decays.
