Description
The diboson (W or Z) final states are among the many key channels of the physics programme at the LHC, particularly important to test the electro-weak sector of the standard model and to search for new physics beyond the SM. This talks focuses on the search for narrow heavy resonances above 1 TeV in the full hadronic states, which are predicted by many popular extensions of the SM such as heavy-vector-triplet model and RS gravitons. Novel jet substructure techniques are then used to identify the hadronically decaying bosons. This talk will present the latest search results based on 15.5/fb data collected by ATLAS experiments up to July 2016 this year, covering the diboson mass range up to 3.5 TeV.
