Description
Heavy-ion collisions at ultra-relativistic energies give a unique possibility to create and to analyse the Quark-Gluon Plasma predicted by the theory of Quantum Chromodynamics. Expe- rimental results reveal the collective behaviour of matter created in the heavy-ion collisions at ultra-relativistic energies. The existence of this effect can be verified by the measurement of the transverse mass dependence of the source size extracted using different particle species. Such characteristics can be determined using the analysis technique called femtoscopy. The femto- scopic analysis with baryon pairs measured in Pb–Pb collisions at the centre-of-mass collision energy per nucleon pair √sNN=2.76 TeV collected by A Large Ion Collider Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider is presented in this talk. This study includes the effect of the residual correlations which was found to be vital for the description of the femtoscopic correlation in baryon systems.
