Abstract: Glueballs, hybrids and multiquark states are hadrons of new forms that are supported by the QCD theory but not yet established in experiment. Search and study of new hadrons therefore play a crucial role in testing and improving understanding of the QCD theory. BESIII has collected the world largest J/psi and psi' data samples.
Their decays provide great opportunities to study light hadron spectroscopy, where ground states of new hadrons are predicted to be accessible. This talk reviews some highlights of BESIII results on search and study new light hadrons, and discusses further studies on this subject.
简介:QCD理论支持强子以胶球、混杂态和多夸克态等形式存在,然而实验上迄今尚未明确证实这点。研究新型强子对检验和增进理解QCD理论至关重要。理论预言新型强子的基态存在于轻强子谱中。BESIII实验采集了世界上最大的J/psi和psi'样本,它们的衰变提供了理想的研究轻强子谱的环境。本报告回顾了BESIII实验上搜寻和研究新型轻强子的部分主要成果,展望了未来BESIII在该领域的发展。
个人简历:
闵天觉,2009年毕业于南京大学,获物理学学士学位;2014年毕业于高能所,获得粒子物理与原子核物理专业博士学位;
博士毕业后至今在高能所从事博士后研究工作。博士期间从事BESIII实验中轻强子物理方向的研究,博士论文题目为《BESIII实验上J/ψ和ψ′衰变中新型强子的寻找和研究》。博士后时期继续从事关于BESIII实验中轻强子物理的研究,包括对J/ψ→γη′π+π-过程中X(1835)异常谱形的研究(成果已发表于PRL杂志)、对奇异态候选者π1(1600)的研究、在J/ψ→ωη′π+π-过程中寻找X(1835)等;同时参与BESIII GPUPWA软件框架的开发和维护工作,首次在GPUPWA框架中实现了考虑质量分辨的分波分析。博士后期间获评首届赵忠尧奖学金。
