Description
The ATLAS muon spectrometer is the world's largest muon detector and has played an important role in the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. To further improve prospects for new discoveries at the Large Hadron Collider, the ATLAS muon spectrometer will have a few upgrades of the detector, trigger and readout system. I will present the overall Phase-I and Phase-II muon upgrades and discuss in details the designs of ASICs and frontend boards at the University of Michigan. Speaker: Prof. Junjie Zhu (University of Michigan)
