Description
Abstract: The paper presents a prototype ASIC (GERO-NSP): which is aimed to provide generic readout solution for the Time Projection Chambers (TPC). The 16-channel GERO would provide high sampling frequency, configurable storage depth, and digitalization of data to meet various needs in different experiments. GERO was fabricated in 0.18um CMOS process. The circuit design and test results of the first prototype will be discussed as well as the improvements made on the new version.
