Description
I will discuss the phenomenology of low-energy observables related to the lepton family numbers that are sensitive probes of new physics scales well beyond those accessible at our present colliders. I will focus in particular on:
(i) flavour-changing processes of charged leptons;
(ii) semi-leptonic decays of the B mesons, which have provided in recent years intriguing hints of violation of lepton flavour universality.
