Nucleons are by far the main component of the mass of the Universe. The Nucleon is a very complicate object and, in spite of the everybody belief that QCD is the theory of strong interactions, many aspects of the Nucleon (more in general of the Baryons) are still unexplained and under investigation. This is the case of electron-positron annihilation into Baryon Antibaryon pair, close to their threshold. Recent BESIII data will be shown and discussed.
