  1. Bo Li show a update on R_B measurement.

          He showed that the closure of matrix method, and equation of efficiency and purity is working.

           But there is still some non-closure  due to MC statistics.

         Action item:

         * Bo Li will run on larger sample of fullsim MC

          * will check the correlations between leading jet and sub-leading jet.

          * check how to pick the leading jet ( using pT ordering or b jets probability ordering )

             

 

 

 2. Peizhu and Bo Liu will show W mass study using W->jj direct reconstruction method next week.

 Peizhu is working on the jet clustering issue .

 

 3. Peixun is showing his study on WW threshold scan.

     He showed that the statistics uncertainty is 1.5MeV in W mass measurement with 500 fb-1 in sqrt(s)=161.2 (one energy point).

     He also discussed the impact due to lumi uncertainty and beam energy uncertainty and beam energy spread.

 

      Concerning about the theory systematics,

      Fulvio pointed out that there is precise calculations for W pair production.

      Discussion about the difference between beam spread and beam energy uncertainty in Peixun's study.

      Discussion about the selection cuts for WW events, (mass window cut? )

      Action item: Peixun will look into paper pointed out by Fulvio.

                             try the fit with 2 or 3 more energy points around sqrt(s) =161.2GeV.
