XYZ states: window to subatomic structure

Asia/Shanghai
Description
The XYZ states are those states can’t be well accommodated in traditional quark model. They are candidates for exotic states such as glueball, tetraquark, molecule, hybrid… Their existence are causing kind of chaos in subatomic physics, but they also provide a window to the subatomic structures. In this talk, I will show the most recent experimental progress about XYZ states. Charmed beauty shedding the veil! About the speaker: Dr. Zhentian Sun, is currently a post doctor of IHEP. He got the master and doctor degree at USTC. From 2014-2017, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Indiana University, and after that as a post doctor in IHEP. He joined BESIII since 2009 and has worked on physics analysis on light hadron spectra, charmonium physics and XYZ physics. He has extensive experience in partial wave analysis. -------- Zoom Meeting ID: 662 3217 7367 https://weidijia.zoom.com.cn/j/66232177367
