Description
摘要:In order to investigate the non-equilibrium evolution of spin in a quark gluon plasma, the collision terms for the massive spin transport theory are derived in a kinetic framework. At global equilibrium, the spin distribution function that eliminates the collision terms is derived follows the detailed balance principle. For an initially unpolarized system, spin polarization can be generated at the order of from the coupling between the vector and axial-vector charges. Different from the classical transport theory, the collision terms in the first order spin transport is vanishing only at global equilibrium, when the Killing condition also exists. Close to global equilibrium, the collision terms have both dissipative effect and polarization effect at quantum level. Different from the general relaxation time approximation, there are three relaxation time scales characterizing the damping, polarization and spin evolution respectively. The damping rate and polarization rate are calculated directly from the collision terms.
