ABSTRACT:
Glueballs are hot topics in experimental and theoretical hadron physics. J/psi radiative decays are usually thought of the best hunting ground for glueballs. BESIII has accumulated the largest J/psi event sample in the world, which provide a good opportunity for BESIII to give a decisive conclusion on the existence of glueballs. Our glueball relevant studies from lattice QCD will be reviewed in this talk. I will also give tentative discussions on the connections between lattice results and the resonances f0(1370), f0(1500), f0(1710), f2(2340) and X(2370), etc. The theoretical challenges in identifying glueballs will also be discussed.
