热核与冷核物质的研究不仅是人类探索物质世界的重要内容,也是验证和完善强相互作用理论的理想平台。目前,国际上有RHIC、LHC、CEBAF等多个大型加速器装置在运行,QCD相结构、夸克胶子等离子体性质、核子结构等课题已成为中高能核物理的主要发展方向,EIC、NICA等大科学装置也在建设中。近年来,我国科研人员为该领域的进展做出了重要贡献,并提出了在我国建设EicC的设想。本次暑期学校针对国内中高能核物理领域的研究生、博士后和青年科研人员,邀请了活跃在前沿的专家学者系统地讲授该领域的基础理论知识,并进行前沿报告。

课程涵盖了核子结构和重离子物理两个方面,具体内容包括“微扰QCD基础”、“核子自旋与三维结构”、“小x物理”、“奇特强子态”、“QCD流体力学”、“喷注与重味物理”、“输运与极化理论”、“QCD相结构”和“机器学习的应用”等。课程表初稿可于本页面下方的附件处查看。

本次暑期学校由国家自然科学基金理论物理专款资助,不收注册费。学员的差旅和住宿等费用自理,住宿地点由暑期学校统一预定。对部分学员可提供差旅或住宿资助(申请时需提供导师推荐信)。

Hot and cold nuclear matter are essential subjects for exploring the constituents of the universe, and meanwhile provide an ideal site for testing and developing the underlying theories of the strong interaction. To study the key topics of medium and high-energy nuclear physics, such as the phase diagram of QCD, properties of the quark-gluon plasma and structure of nucleons, many large-scale accelerators (RHIC, LHC, CEBAF, etc.) have been constructed around the world and several are on agenda (EIC, EicC, NICA, etc.). We organize this summer school on theoretical physics for graduate students in medium and high-energy nuclear physics. Active senior experts will be invited to deliver lectures and advanced seminars on QCD and its applications in researches closely connected to accelerator programs above. Both fundamental knowledge and up-to-date progress in heavy-ion physics and nucleon structure will be covered. This program is expected to contribute to getting young students and researchers prepared for projects in medium and high-energy nuclear physics research.

Courses of the school covers nucleon structure and relativistic heavy-ion physics, such as perturbative QCD, nucleon spin and 3D structure, small-x physics, exotic states of hadrons, QCD fluid dynamics, jet and heavy quark, transport and polarization theories, QCD phase diagram, and application of machine learning.
