Description
The CEPC experiment is estimated to have about 3PB/year data for Higgs/W factory and will reach EB in Z factory. Computing is an important part for CEPC during data-taking and detector R&D period. The CEPC distributed computing system has been built based on DIRAC – a common distributed computing framework in HEP field. This report will present status of the CEPC distributed computing system for current R&D detector study, and also will cover our studies on advanced technologies to cope with the software and computing evolution for the coming years and face the challenges for future data volume of CEPC.
To meet the need of software evolution in parallelization, the CEPC computing has started studies on integrating GPU in the platform. To follow up recent WLCG evolution, the platform has successfully adopted HTTP-TPC protocol as basis of CEPC data transfer. Studies and tests are being done to migrate infrastructure to the new token-based AAI.
