We are pleased to announce that the “12th Workshop on Hadron Physics and Opportunities Worldwide” will take place at the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China from August 4th to August 9th, 2024.
The Hadron2024 is a five-day conference with August 4th for on-site registration. From 5th to 9th, the conference will be held at the Dalian.
Hadron Physics has drawn great interests from the Chinese nuclear and high-energy physics communities and has been one of the main research fields at research institutes and universities in China. At the same time, the Chinese collaborations are playing increasingly important roles at international hadron physics facilities (Jefferson Lab, RHIC, COMPASS@CERN, J-PARC, …), in particular, at the recently upgraded 12 GeV Jefferson Lab in US, which will provide a broad range of opportunities for frontier research in hadronic physics.
The workshop will highlight the recent progress in hadron physics and focus on opportunities at the current and upcoming facilities. The major topics covered at the workshop will include Hadron Structure and QCD, Hadron Spectroscopy and Exotic States, Nuclear Medium Effects and Low Energy Tests of the Standard Model. Also ways to further enhance and promote collaborations between the Chinese and the international hadron physics communities will be discussed at this workshop.
This workshop follows its series previously held in Tianjin(2019), Weihai(2018), Nanjing(2017), Wuhan(2016), Kunshan (2015), Lanzhou (2014), Huangshan (2013), Beijing (2012), Weihai (2011), Beijing (2010), and Lanzhou (2009).
