Chinese f visa is required for tourists from most countries. For updated visa application guidelines, please see the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreigners.(See link below)
Note that from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024 travelers holding ordinary passports from six countries, namely France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia, do not need visa to enter China and stay for no more than 15 days for business, tourism, family visit and transit purposes.

- Which Chinese Embassy will you apply for your visa from?
- Planned arrival date in China
- Length of stay in China
The process of visa application may take some time, depending on the particular type of visa you apply for. Please consult a Chinese consulate near you for detailed information.
